Job summary

A well established hospital is seeking a Cath Lab Special Procedure Technologist to assist credentialed providers with diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic procedures within cardiac and vascular laboratory environments. He or she will operate under direct physician supervision to deliver high-quality patient care, maintain radiation safety standards, and support seamless laboratory operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of cardiac cath lab/EP/special procedures experience within the last 3 years.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Oregon License OR Washington License as Radiologic Technologist; ARRT Radiologic Technologist Certification.
• BLS within 1 month of hire; ACLS within 2 months of hire.
• One of RCIS, RCES, ARRT-CI, or ARRT-VI within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Scrub, monitor/recorder, and x-ray technician for procedures; position patients and monitor hemodynamics.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot specialized equipment (IVUS, Site Rite, devices); perform POCT.
• Recognize arrhythmias and hemodynamic changes; provide BLS/ALS as needed.
• Manage radiation safety, document procedures, and assist with compliance surveys.
• Rotate call coverage with a 30-minute on-site response time; assist with patient transport and education.
