Job summary

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA is seeking an Interventional Technologist II for the Cardiac Cath and EP labs. This is a full-time, day shift position with rotating call after 4 PM. You will perform advanced interventional procedures under physician supervision and contribute to patient education and safety.

The role supports a 20-person cardiovascular team, with an expected patient load and a focus on quality care in a Magnet-status hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Trade school graduate required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• ARRT CI/R or RCIS certification preferred (Cardiovascular Interventional/RCIS).

Responsibilities

• Perform complex invasive interventional procedures under physician direction.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Operate equipment safely and document procedures.
• Maintain equipment and supply inventory.
• Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.
