Job summary

HCA Healthcare in Savannah, Georgia, is looking for a dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to support diagnostic procedures in a Level 1 Emergency Cardiac Care facility. Key responsibilities include technical assistance during heart repair procedures and maintaining certifications in advanced and basic life support. Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of cardiovascular technology or radiology is required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (ARRT-R), (RCIS), or (RCES) certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Serves as a technical resource and provides scrub assistance for diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures for a Level 1 Emergency Cardiac Care facility. Requires detailed knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, disease processes and principles of cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional technology in a safe patient care environment. Assists with, or will learn to assist with structural heart repair procedures (TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, etc.) as well as insertion/removal of cardiac support devices (IABP, Impella, ECMO, etc.).

This position requires on‑call during the week and weekend in a rotation within 30 minutes from the hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of cardiovascular technology or Graduate of accredited school of radiology is required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT‑R) Radiography, or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or (RCES) Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
