Job summary

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital in Sanford, FL seeks a Cardiovascular Technician to join the Electrophysiology Lab. You will scrub, circulate, record, and monitor during cardiac procedures to help ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians with angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements; preparing patients and families; operating and maintaining advanced equipment; and upholding a sterile, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Two years experience in a licensed field and one year cardiac cath lab experience preferred.
• State of Florida Paramedic License or CCT (Certified Cardiographic Technician) through CCI.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Shift and Position Information: Four-9hr shifts in the Electrophysiology Lab Monday -Friday. No Call Required. Optional to pick up call in the Cath Lab if individual lives within 30 min call window.

The cardiovascular technologist assists with all procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab including scrubbing, circulating, recording and monitoring patient status to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures

What qualifications you will need:
