Job summary

Loyola Medicine is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist to support cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures. You will operate fluoroscopy, C-arm, PACS, and hemodynamic monitoring systems while maintaining sterile technique.

The role includes room setup, patient positioning, image quality assurance, and assisting physicians during Cath Lab cases. ARRT, IEMA, and BLS/CPR credentials are preferred; on-site training is provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent Radiologic Technology training.
• ARRT certification, IEMA license, and BLS/CPR credentials preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced procedural environment with cardiac/vascular teams.

Responsibilities

• Support diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures following sterile technique.
• Operate fluoroscopy, C-arm, PACS, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Prepare procedure rooms, position patients, and ensure safe and accurate imaging.
• Assist physicians during Cath Lab cases, monitor vital signs, and support workflow.

What You’ll Do

• Support diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures following sterile technique
• Operate fluoroscopy, C‑arm, PACS, and hemodynamic monitoring systems
• Prepare procedure rooms, position patients, and ensure safe and accurate imaging
• Assist physicians during Cath Lab cases, monitor vital signs, and contribute to optimal procedural flow
• Participate in the on‑call rotation, supporting emergent cases when needed

Schedule

• PRN / Registry
• 7:00am–3:30pm
• Flexibility required for on‑call and occasional extended shifts depending on case volume

What We’re Looking For

Education

• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent experience/training

Licensure & Certifications

• ARRT certification
• IEMA license (Illinois Emergency Management Agency)
• AHA CPR (BLS)

Pay Range: $30.99 - $50.71 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
