Responsibilities
- Administers ionizing radiation using imaging modalities to perform radiographic procedures of a highly specialized nature.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span.
- Assesses data reflective of the patient’s status and interprets information relative to the patient’s age‑specific needs.
- Provides imaging support within Interventional Radiology suites, Hybrid operating rooms, and assists in Stealth guidance.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. Graduate from an accredited radiography program of study.
- One year experience as an interventional radiology or cardiac cath lab technologist preferred.
- Functions as an Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Cath or Electrophysiology Lab Technologist.
- Ability to improvise standard procedures and work independently and in a team environment, making decisions and directing work and patient flow to achieve maximum operational efficiency.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- ARRT-R and Arizona CRT required.
- Basic Life Support Certification required upon hire and must be valid for 90 days or greater from start date.
- Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) Competency.
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
- CV, CI, VI, RCIS or RCES required within two years of hire.
- Certification in Cardiac or Vascular Intervention by the ARRT preferred.

- Schedule Details: Days Hours 0700-1730 4x 10 hour shifts per week with call requirements
- Weekend Schedule: Call requirement averages 10-12 days per 6 weeks
