Job summary

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA, is seeking an Interventional Technologist II for the Cardiac Cath and EP labs. This full-time, day-shift role includes rotating on-call with a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 for qualified candidates.

The Interventional Tech II will perform complex invasive procedures under physician direction, educate patients, operate and maintain equipment, document thoroughly, and support department performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Trade school graduate required.
• BLS required; ACLS within 90 days.
• One of ARRT CI, ARRT R, ARRT VI, RCIS.
• 1 year of experience preferred; vascular experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex invasive interventional procedures under physician direction.
• Provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely.
• Completes department documentation; maintains equipment.
• Maintains inventory for examinations; participates in performance improvement.

Trade School Graduate

BLS certification

ACLS within 90 days of hire
