Job summary

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab. This is a full-time day shift with on-call requirements, four 9-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and weekly call obligations.

The department supports a high-volume STEMI program with comprehensive orientation and a collaborative team. Preferred candidates have Cath/EP Lab and critical care experience and are ready to contribute to patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Registered nursing degree/diploma required.
• ACLS required before orientation.
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.
• 1-2 years Cath/EP Lab experience preferred.
• Critical care experience in hospital required.
• Ability to manage complex cases in fast-paced environments.
• Experience in intra-procedural patient care and moderate sedation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process and critical thinking.
• Collaborate in Cath Lab procedures and patient teaching.
• Maintain documentation and ensure patient safety during interventions.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing skills training.
