Job summary

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA is hiring a full-time Echocardiographer. Ideal candidates have one year of experience and live within 30 minutes of the hospital to cover calls.

We offer a $20,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates, a day shift (Mon–Fri) with 4-week on-call rotation, and a competitive pay range with benefits. Base pay is $42.23–$62.80 per hour, plus potential incentives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates or bachelor’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited echocardiography program or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2D, Doppler, transesophageal and stress echocardiograms.
• Evaluate heart and vessel abnormalities for heart disease assessment.
• Complete technologist report in the structured report system.
• Maintain communication with patients and healthcare providers.
• Work within fast-paced noninvasive imaging environment.
