Medical City Las Colinas is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech to join our team in Irving, TX. You will work with physicians and staff to deliver advanced care during lifesaving cardiac procedures using state-of-the-art cath lab technology.

Responsibilities include assisting with complex procedures, preparing patients, operating equipment, and ensuring patient safety. A minimum of 1 year of experience and required ACLS/BCLS certifications are expected.

Qualifikationen

• ACLS and BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Certifications: RCIS, CST, RT/Radiologic Technologist, or ARRt-R.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the cardiac cath lab.

• Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures (angiograms, angioplasties, stent placements).
• Prepare and support patients and families before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain advanced equipment for safe, effective treatment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• High School Graduate / GED
• (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or (CST) Certified Surgical Technologist, or (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, or (ARRT-R) Radiography
• 1 year experience Required
