Job summary

Brookwood Baptist Health is seeking a Cardiac Invasive Specialist (Tech) II Pool to perform diagnostic imaging and support cardiovascular procedures. You will assist physicians, monitor patient condition, and ensure high-quality images with proper safety and documentation.

The role requires RCIS/RCES or equivalent, RT(R)/RRT/CRT licensure, Paramedic credentials, and several years in a cardiac cath lab scrub role. Work includes evenings and weekends as needed in Idaho.

Qualifications

• CVT/RCIS or RCES certification required
• RRT or CRT from an accredited program
• Radiography (RT(R)) certification/licensure
• Paramedic (NREMT-P) with Cardiac Catheterization lab experience
• Must obtain RCIS within 24 months of hire
• High school diploma or GED
• Five years Cardiac Cath Lab scrub experience

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging and related procedures for cardiovascular cases.
• Scrub assistant for cardiovascular procedures and provide patient education.
• Maintain patient safety, precision, and imaging quality.
• Document patient history and ensure accurate records.
• Maintain equipment, inventory, and department workflow.

Education

RCIS certification (RCIS) or RCES certification

RRT or CRT certification

Radiography (RT(R)) licensure

Paramedic—NREMT-P

RCIS certification within 24 months of hire

High school diploma or GED

Five years Cardiac Cath Lab scrub experience
