Job summary

Orlando Health South Lake Hospital in Clermont, FL is seeking an Invasive Specialist Tech II to support the Cardiac Cath Lab. This full-time position requires expertise in diagnostic imaging and interventional support for cardiovascular procedures.

Qualifications

• Requires RCIS, CI certification or a related bachelor's degree substitute.
• Graduate of accredited Cardiovascular Technology or radiologic/respiratory programs.
• Current BLS/ACLS; PALS may be required depending on unit needs.
• One year of Cardiac Catheterization lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as role model for Cardiology department and support strategic goals.
• Collaborate with medical staff to plan and manage procedures.
• Ensure patient education on procedures, safety, and comfort.
• Position patients and equipment to achieve high-quality images.
• Assist physicians as a scrub through cardiovascular procedures.
