Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking an Invasive Specialist (Technologist) II to perform diagnostic imaging for cardiovascular procedures at our Lakeland campus. The role requires patient assessment, precise imaging, and collaboration with physicians to ensure safe, effective interventions.

The position entails evenings, weekends, and on-call coverage as part of standard hospital operations. The successful candidate will have 1 year of Cardiac Catheterization lab experience, relevant certifications

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Must meet unit-specific performance competencies.

Responsibilities

• Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures and protocols.
• Assesses the patient’s physical condition and age-specific needs.
• Ensures patient education on procedures, safety, and comfort.
• Positions patient and equipment to obtain high quality images.
• Maintains patient safety and aseptic techniques.
• Provides physiological monitoring during procedures.
• Supports physician as scrub assistant for cardiovascular procedures.
• Maintains documentation and proper workflow.

Education

CVT—RCIS or RCES: High school diploma or GED

RRT or CRT: Associate degree from an accredited respiratory therapy education program

R.T.(R): Completion of an accredited radiography program

Paramedic—NREMT-P: Completion of an accredited paramedic education program
