Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist to join the Cath Lab team at Banner Del Webb Medical Center in Sun City West, AZ. The role supports fast-paced cardiovascular procedures, scrubbing, circulating and monitoring during interventions, with an emphasis on imaging and patient care.

This full-time position offers day shifts, 4 ten-hour shifts, and on-call nights, weekends and holidays. Minimum certification requirements include ARRT, BLS/ACLS/PALS where applicable, with a

Qualifications

Certificate or diploma from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology as required by state law.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
PALS certification where applicable.
Post primary certification with minimum Cath Lab/EP experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Assists in direct patient care and supports interdisciplinary care planning.
Acts as primary resource for equipment education and training within the department.
Facilitates patient flow and ensures safe, cost-effective care.
Performs preventive maintenance and safety inspections on medical equipment.
Contributes to quality management and process improvement activities.
