Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs on the Cath Lab procedure team as circulator, scrub, or monitor.
• Prepares patient for procedures and reviews history and physical.
• Administers medications when indicated and reports observations to physician.
• Ensures safe hemostasis and proper device use.
• Documents orders and charges and educates patients and families.
• Assists families to the cardiology area when needed.
• May perform point of care testing per policy.
