Job summary

SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - Madison is seeking a PRN Cardiac Cath Lab nurse to support the team in a fast-paced environment. This role involves acting as circulator, scrub, or monitor and ensuring safe, high-quality care for adult cardiac patients.

You will collaborate with clinicians to prep patients, review history and physicals, and administer medications as directed. Wisconsin RN licensure, BLS, and ALS or PALS certification are required, with day shifts and some weekend obligations.

Qualifications

• RN license in Wisconsin required (or compact state equivalent) with current BLS certification.
• ACL S (ALS) or PALS certification required.
• Experience working in a Cardiac Cath Lab or similar perioperative environment preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs circulator, scrub, or monitor roles in the Cath Lab.
• Preps patients for procedures and ensures accurate H&P information.
• Administers medications as directed and communicates with physicians about patient status.
• Maintains patient safety and documentation; educates families about procedures.
