Job summary

SSM Health Saint Joseph Hospital – St. Charles in Missouri is seeking an RN to join the Cardiac Cath Lab team. This regular, full-time role supports day-shift procedures and coordinates patient care with the cath lab team.

Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold RN licensure (MO or compact state), and possess BLS; ALS or PALS is also required. The position offers a competitive benefits package and potential sign-on bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required (Missouri or compact state)
• BLS Health Care Provider certification (AHA) required
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required

Responsibilities

• Performs on the Cath Lab procedure team as circulator, scrub, or monitor.
• Preps patient in holding with complete H&P before procedures.
• Administers medications as needed and reports abnormal information to the physician in a timely manner.
• Performs hemostasis safely with/without vascular devices.
• Educates patients and families about perioperative tests and procedures.

Education

Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
