Job summary

Ascension Saint Joseph in Chicago, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab to provide direct patient care in a PRN/day shift. You will administer orders, monitor patient conditions, document care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support discharge planning.

Required is an Illinois RN license and BLS, with a nursing diploma. Preference given to candidates with cath lab experience and commitment to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date.
• RN credential from Illinois Board of Nursing required.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
• One year RN cath lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care by administering physician and nursing orders and implementing care plans.
• Monitor and document patient conditions and update the team on changes.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care and manage discharge planning with the healthcare team.
