Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
• No experience required.
• Current Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA) and RN license acceptable in IL, MO, OK, or WI per location.

Responsibilities

• Performs on the Cath Lab procedure team as circulator, scrub, or monitor.
• Preps patient in holding and ensures history and physical is available.
• Administers medications and uses critical judgment in patient care.
• Performs hemostasis safely with/without vascular devices.
• Documents orders and charges; verifies accuracy.
• Educates patients and families; provides perioperative instructions.
