Job summary

Tidelands Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory to provide high-quality nursing care. The role involves preparing patients for catheterization and related procedures, assisting physicians, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout interventions.

Ideal candidates hold an ADN with preferred BSN/MSN, have strong EMR skills, and can communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team.

Qualifications

• Asscociate's Degree in Nursing required (ADN).
• BSN preferred. MSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for catheterization, angioplasty and pacemaker implantations.
• Assist physician in catheterization, angioplasty and pacemaker implantations processes.
• Keep patients calm and relaxed during procedures where they're awake.
• Administer appropriate medicine when needed.
• Perform proper after procedure care.
• Check vital signs of the patient with proper care.
• Provide education about medications and care to patients and families before discharge.
