Qualifications

• Requires an active RN license in NJ and an associate degree or diploma in nursing.
• Six months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
• BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
• BSN in progress or willingness to pursue within three years of hire.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs, stand 6+ hours, and work in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Delegate and coordinate care, validate, evaluate, and supervise others as needed.
• Document care activities in electronic records and ensure timely communication of patient status.
• Assess patients, develop care plans, and adjust as condition changes.
• Support discharge planning and patient education with a focus on safety and outcomes.
