Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care and coordinate services within an interdisciplinary team. This role emphasizes up-to-date evidence-based practice and meticulous documentation to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, delegate tasks, and participate in continuous learning and professional development. BSN within five years may be required; competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Six months of relevant nursing experience or active Nurse Residency participation.
• BSN requirement within five years of hire for certain staff per union contract.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, high-quality nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Delegate, validate, evaluate and coordinate care among caregivers.
• Document patient care and communicate with team about patient status.
• Administer medications using updated bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
• Assist with discharge planning and ensure safe transition of care.
