Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care within a collaborative team. The role emphasizes evidence-based nursing, care coordination, and patient education in a dynamic hospital setting.

The candidate should hold a valid New Jersey RN license, have BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire, and be able to lift and stand for extended periods. BSN in progress or willingness to pursue within three years is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum associate degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing.
• Current and valid RN license to work in New Jersey.
• BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
• Six months of relevant nursing experience OR active Nurse Residency participation with Hackensack Meridian Health.
• BSN in progress or willingness to pursue within three years of hire.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs, push/pull 10 lbs, and stand ~6 hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate care with physicians, peers, and support services.
• Deliver nursing care following evidence-based policies and standards.
• Document care and patient status, update care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on condition, treatment, and discharge planning.
