Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in New Jersey to provide direct patient care within an interdisciplinary team. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient safety, and coordination across care teams.

Qualifications

Must have current and valid RN license to work at the assigned HMH location by date of hire.
BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire is required.
Six months or more nursing experience OR active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency Program.
BSN in progress or plan to acquire within three years of hire.

Responsibilities

Deliver nursing care per evidence-based policies and standards.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with an interdisciplinary team.
Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and support services.
Educate patients and families; ensure safe medication administration with bar-scanning systems.
Discharge planning and transitioning patients safely to next care setting.
