Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast in Pasadena, Texas is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Radiology Technologist to support lifesaving cardiac procedures. You will work with physicians and a skilled team to deliver high-quality care using state-of-the-art cath lab technology, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the treatment journey.

Responsibilities include assisting with angiograms, angioplasties and stent placements, preparing patients, operating advanced equipment, and maintaining sterile

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (RCIS) or (ARRT-CI) or (ARRT-R) certification/degree required or equivalent.

• Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
• Prepare and support patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment.
• Monitor patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care.
• Safeguard a sterile, safe environment and advocate for every patient.

• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or (ARRT-CI) Cardiac Interventional Radiography, or (ARRT-R) Radiography, or Certificate, or Associate Degree
