Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare West is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Rad Technologist to support physicians during lifesaving cardiac procedures. You will work with state-of-the-art cath lab technology and a supportive team.

The role emphasizes patient education, precision in treatment, and maintaining a sterile environment. Requires ARRT or RCIS licensure, ACLS/BLS, and an Associate Degree; at least one year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required within 6 months of employment start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
• Associate degree required for the role.
• ARRT or RCIS licensure is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
• Prepare and support patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment.
• Monitor patient responses with vigilance to ensure the highest level of care.
• Maintain a sterile, safe environment and advocate for every patient.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Associate Degree
• ARRT or RCIS licensure required
• Minium one year of experience preferred
