Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake in Webster, TX seeks a PRN Cardiac Cath Lab Radiology Technologist to join our cardiovascular team. You will assist physicians during angiograms, angioplasties and stent placements, prepare patients, and ensure a safe, compassionate environment.

You will operate advanced cath lab equipment, monitor patient responses, and uphold sterile techniques. No travel required; two years experience preferred; ACLS/BCLS certifications within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS certifications required within defined timeframes.
• Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer or RCIS credentials required.
• ARRT-R Radiography or ARRT-N Nuclear Medicine Technology credentials needed.

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
• (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (ARRT-N) Nuclear Medicine Technology
