Job summary

Richmond University Medical Center is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Manager to oversee daily administrative, operational, and clinical support for the Cardiac Catheterization and EP labs, ensuring efficient scheduling, staffing, patient care coordination, and accurate billing.

The role requires a healthcare administration background, MS Office proficiency, and strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate with anesthesia, vendors, and biomedical staff for high-quality cardiovascular

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business management, or related field preferred.
• Proven office management or healthcare administration experience, preferably in a cardiology setting.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements, especially related to cardiology procedures, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Staffing Management: Create monthly staffing schedules; seek approval before posting; anticipate overtime and per diem usage based on daily volume.
• Case Coordination: Oversee elective and in-house case bookings; coordinate timing with anesthesia; coordinate with vendors for procedure timing.
• Patient Care: Take patient assignments as needed; work with biomed staff for equipment repair when necessary.
• Supply Management: Write requisitions for outside orders and monthly device requisitions; maintain implant files; complete Medtronic rebate forms.
• Billing and Reporting: Input billing data into MEDITECH for cath and EP procedures; collect monthly procedural statistics.
• Regulatory Compliance: Coordinate NYSDOH PCIRS; submit data via external abstractor; finalize paperwork and signatures.
• Quality Assurance: Gather POC test reports monthly; follow up on staff POC competencies.
• Radiation Safety: Record and collect x-ray badges for staff.
