Job summary

MyMichigan Health seeks a Registered Nurse to care for patients before, during and after angiography and interventional cardiac procedures. The role covers Structural Heart, Interventional Radiology, Diagnostic/Neuro, Vascular and EP pacemaker/device patients, with pre-procedure assessments and post-procedure education.

You will monitor hemodynamics, operate critical equipment, document care, and collaborate with physicians on individualized plans.

Qualifications

• Two years of critical care nursing experience typically required.
• RN licensure required with ACLS/BLS certifications.
• Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to mentor and precept new staff.

Responsibilities

• Care for cardiac catheterization, structural heart, IR, neuro, vascular and EP pacemaker/device patients.
• Calculate cardiac output, perform hemodynamic monitoring, operate life-support equipment when needed.
• Record relevant data on appropriate sheets and assist in case scrubbing.
• Collaborate with physicians to plan individualized patient care and assist in other procedures.
• Must participate in on-call duties and ongoing professional development.
