Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology to deliver specialized nursing care before, during, and after cardiovascular and radiology procedures.

The role collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care, with focus on safety, documentation, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• DC RN license required.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab, IR, or procedural nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• ONS/ONCC certification required.

Aufgaben

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures by reviewing medical history, obtaining informed consent verification, initiating IV access, and providing education.
• Monitor patients during procedures, including hemodynamic monitoring, rhythm interpretation, and moderate sedation administration/monitoring.
• Assist physicians during angiograms, angioplasty, stent placement, thrombectomy, embolization, biopsies, and other vascular interventions.
• Operate and monitor hemodynamic monitoring systems, contrast injectors, and emergency resuscitation equipment.
• Recognize and respond to complications or emergencies such as arrhythmias, respiratory distress, bleeding, or cardiac arrest.
• Provide post-procedure recovery care and discharge education.
