Job summary

Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center is seeking a dynamic Nurse Manager to lead the Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology programs in New Jersey. This role focuses on operational leadership, patient throughput, and clinical excellence within a high-volume cardiovascular system.

The Nurse Manager will drive recruitment, budgeting, quality initiatives, and strategic collaboration with physicians and hospital leaders to expand services and adopt innovative procedures.

Qualifications

• Direct and oversee daily operations of the cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology labs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional healthcare regulations and safety standards.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of Cath and EP lab personnel.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other departments to ensure seamless, high-quality patient care.
• Develop and manage the labs’ operating and capital budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings and resource optimization.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily operations of the cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology labs, ensuring optimal workflow and patient throughput.
• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and institutional healthcare regulations and safety standards.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of Cath and EP lab personnel.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other departments to ensure seamless, high-quality patient care.
• Develop and manage the labs’ operating and capital budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings and resource optimization.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance initiatives, including clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and staff engagement.
• Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, benchmarking, and adoption of best practices in cardiovascular and electrophysiology care.
• Serve as a key liaison with hospital leadership, contributing to strategic planning and service line growth.
• Champion innovation in cardiovascular care, supporting the development and execution of advanced procedures and technologies.
• Support and expand the regional cardiogenic shock and structural heart programs through clinical leadership and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Oversee the expansion and integration of new procedure rooms to accommodate growing patient volumes and service offerings.
