Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs clerical duties to support patient care activities and coordinates communication within the unit.
• Maintains patient charts, files, and documents following procedures.
• Answers telephones, manages the patient call system, and assists staff and patients as needed.
• Keeps records organized and reconciles routine equipment and supply inventories.
• Supports nurses and physicians with routine tasks and transports as delegated.
