Job summary

Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital - Frisco is opening a state-of-the-art cardiovascular facility in Frisco, TX. We seek a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Universal Bed Unit to support compassionate, high-quality patient care during night shifts (FT, 7p-7a).

Ideal candidates will have 1 year PCU RN experience; CVICU/ICU exposure is a plus. Orientation will begin prior to opening in Fall 2026 at Plano location for training and onboarding.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• RN license required; BLS certification preferred or to be obtained within 30 days.
• 1 year PCU RN experience required; CVICU/ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and create, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Educate patients and families; document learning needs and outcomes.
• Delegate tasks according to patient condition and team competencies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and adjust care plans.
• Ensure safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care delivery.
• Foster therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
• Contribute to peers’ development and community service.
