Job summary

Navigant Credit Union is seeking a Card Services Specialist II to manage fraud monitoring, chargebacks, and dispute processing for Mastercard debit/credit programs, ensuring compliance with Reg E and Reg Z. The role supports card issuance, maintenance, and settlements, with exposure to risk assessments and process improvements.

The position requires 5+ years in financial operations, 2+ years in Card Services, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years in financial institution operations, 2+ years in Card Services preferred.
• Experience in call center or client-facing banking environment required.
• Fraud or non-fraud claims back-office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of deposit account regulations and Mastercard debit/credit program rules.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fraud indicators and collaborate with Risk to manage card statuses.
• Oversee dispute processing and related case management with vendors.
• Track and report on debit/credit/ATM transaction losses to management.
• Ensure compliance with Regulation E, Z, and other applicable rules.
• Assist with testing new core system modules and onboarding of new releases.
• Support audit activities within Card Services and Deposit Operations.
