Job summary

Sound Credit Union is seeking a Card Services Specialist to deliver exceptional member service and efficiently manage member card accounts. You will handle card-related inquiries, process disputes, and support accurate record keeping in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers a hybrid work schedule with rotating shifts, a nine-month contract term, and benefits that support wellbeing and professional growth within a community-focused credit union.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related functional area, or a combination of education and experience in card processing.
• 2+ years of experience with credit/debit card procedures, products, and services preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in business, office skills, bookkeeping/accounting, or related courses preferred.
• Must be bondable.
• Employer sponsorship for employment authorization is not available.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update member’s credit/debit card accounts and related functions.
• Process disputes, including submissions via Visa Online, provisional credit, and letters.
• Research and correct member or clerical discrepancies.

Compensation & Benefits

• Target hourly rate: $25.96 – $32.45 based on experience and education.
• Full salary range: $25.96 – $38.94 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update member’s credit/debit card accounts and related functions.
• Process disputes, including submissions via Visa Online, provisional credit, and letters.

Hours & Schedule

Hybrid schedule rotating monthly between 8 AM – 5 PM and 9 AM – 6 PM, with rotating Saturdays 9 AM – 1 PM.

Contract Length

Self‑sustained contract of approximately 9 months.
