Job summary

xpate is seeking a Card Scheme Operations Specialist to act as the liaison between xpate and card schemes. You will monitor Visa and Mastercard bulletins, coordinate responses to requests, maintain internal documentation, and ensure compliance with evolving rules across the card business.

You will collaborate with Product, Operations, Compliance, Finance, Risk, and Engineering to implement scheme changes, support integrations, and contribute to process improvements in a fast-paced fintech

Qualifications

• Experience with Visa/Mastercard rule changes and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex operational issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Visa and Mastercard bulletins, mandates and updates.
• Assess impact of scheme changes and coordinate implementations.
• Support scheme integrations, certifications, testing and new services.
• Prepare and submit mandatory scheme reports (compliance, PCI DSS, etc.).
• Coordinate responses to requests and investigations from card schemes.
• Maintain registers, trackers and documentation; keep information up-to-date.
• Own knowledge bases and Confluence pages; maintain process docs.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, Compliance, Finance, Risk and Engineering.
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
