Job summary

Credit Union of Texas is seeking a Card Operations Specialist to serve as subject matter expert for credit/debit/prepaid cards and mobile wallets. You will assist members and internal stakeholders with inquiries, disputes, and service requests, using CUTX AI tools with human-in-the-loop review for every member-impacting output.

The role includes processing card maintenance, researching transactions, handling disputes and fraud claims, and supporting reconciliation activities.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of financial products and services.
• Working knowledge of Regulation E and Regulation Z dispute/resolution requirements.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Excellent member service skills and a genuine drive to assist others.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with courteous grammar.
• Proven ability to stay focused and maintain productivity while managing multiple interactions.
• Good judgment and discretion when handling confidential member information.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.
• Positive attitude and team orientation.

Responsibilities

• Receive and respond to daily calls and email inquiries related to card products, delivering consistent member service.
• Consult with members to identify needs, propose solutions, and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Process mail for card products, including address changes on cards.
• Resolve card product inquiries from branches and internal teams.
• Process card maintenance tasks and dispute-related actions; document details in the system.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Associate degree preferred
