Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is hiring for a Fabrication Operator I in Santa Fe Springs, CA. You will learn and perform carbon brake fabrication steps, resin application, and data entry in MES while adhering to SOPs and safety procedures.

The role requires a HS diploma or equivalent, U.S. person status, and the ability to obtain security clearance. Second shift, onsite with full benefits and career training opportunities.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent) required or 2 years relevant work experience.
• Must be a U.S. Person and able to obtain security clearance.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn carbon brake fabrication steps for loading/unloading carbon preforms into hydraulic presses.
• Apply phenolic resin to carbon fabric.
• Use handheld scanners to track parts.
• Precisely measure with standard instruments and scales.
• Operate MES to enter data at fabrication steps.
