Job summary

Turning Stone Enterprises is seeking a Car Wash Technician to maintain and repair automated car wash systems. The role covers electrical, hydraulic, water, filtration, and chemical subsystems, plus routine inspections and preventative maintenance.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 3 years of related experience, and the ability to read blueprints. Outdoor work year-round and lifting up to 50 lbs are required.

• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical (low and high voltage), hydraulics, pneumatics and pumps.
• Ability to read and understand blue prints and equipment schematics.
• Ability to work outdoors year round.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots car wash equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, water, filtration, and chemical systems.
• Performs daily inspections, test washes, and scheduled preventative maintenance for safe operation.
• Manages chemical and parts inventories, monitors usage and costs, and maintains service records.
• Responds to work orders and coordinates repairs with site management and vendors.
• Keeps service vehicle stocked and organized; stays current with manufacturer training.

Job Requirements

Starting Pay Rate: $20.50 hourly

The Car Wash Technician maintains and repairs automatic and tunnel car wash equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, water, filtration, and chemical systems. Conducts inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and test washes to ensure safe and reliable operation. Coordinates with vendors and site management, maintains parts and chemical inventories, tracks service records and costs, and responds promptly to work orders.

What does a Car Wash Technician do?

• Maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots car wash equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, water, filtration, and chemical systems.
• Performs daily inspections, test washes, and scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Manages chemical and parts inventories, monitors product usage and costs, and maintains accurate service records.
• Responds to work orders, identifies equipment failures, and coordinates repairs with site management and outside vendors.
• Maintains current equipment knowledge through manufacturer training and keeps the service vehicle stocked and organized.

Work Experience

To be successful as a Car Wash Technician, you'll need:

• High School Diploma.

• Ability to read and understand blue prints and equipment schematics is required.
• Ability to work in outdoor environment year round is required.
• Ability to work on ladders and at heights is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
