Circle K Stores Inc. in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Car Wash Assistant Manager Level 1 to oversee daily operations in the car wash area when the Site Manager is unavailable. You will train staff, manage schedules, and ensure smooth car wash operations, including vacuum system handling and customer service excellence.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and a proactive approach to staffing and sales. Outdoor/variable weather environment with safety protocols and PPE as applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 6 months to 1 year retail and management experience preferred.
• Leadership, communication, and active listening skills are essential.
• Experience with team building is desirable.
• Excellent sales and customer service skills are required.
• Ability to anticipate customer needs and provide proactive service.
• Proficient computer skills are required.
• Strong work ethic and professional attitude are expected.

Responsibilities

• Act as the manager in charge when Site Manager is unavailable.
• Order and stock vending items.
• Provide training to new hires.
• Train on opening/closing checklists and loading techniques.
• Teach Fast Pass sales techniques to the team.
• Respond to voicemails and emails promptly.
• Create an effective schedule.
• Know car wash vacuum system operation and loading.
• Clean the vacuum system when needed.
• Support Site Manager at monthly team meetings.
• Assist with on-site Supervisor Courses.
• Supervise teammates performing PM and assess training needs.
• Complete the GSR Daily Breakdown.
