Job summary

Executive Leadership Solutions is seeking an Equipment Technician for car wash sites in Chicago, IL. You will perform mechanical and electrical repairs, conduct preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot systems to minimize downtime. Document activities in CMMS and support site launches.

Must have 5+ years of car wash equipment experience with the ability to travel between sites and respond to after-hours emergencies. Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems hands-on.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and documenting work.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools safely.
• Willingness to travel between sites as needed.
• Available for on-call and after-hours emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Keep the operation running by performing mechanical and electrical repairs and replacements.
• Execute preventive maintenance proactively to prevent outages.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems with systematic problem-solving.
• Close out work orders, update CMMS logs, and red-line drawings.
• Train site staff on operation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
• Assist with new site installations and equipment launches.
