Executive Leadership Solutions is seeking a Senior Equipment Technician to lead a 5-person team and keep car wash sites running at peak performance through proactive maintenance and expert troubleshooting.

You will fix mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, document all work in CMMS, and train site staff to ensure long-term reliability. Travel between sites and after-hours availability are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of car wash equipment experience.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems.
• Proactive mindset — you surface issues before they become outages.
• Strong documentation habits — you close work orders and update logs accurately.
• Willingness to travel between sites and be available for on-call emergencies.
• Experience with 3-phase motors, PLCs, VFDs, or relay logic is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Senior Equipment Technician - for Car Wash

As a Senior Equipment Technician, you will lead a team of 5 technicians and keep our sites running at peak performance through expert troubleshooting, disciplined preventive maintenance, and a proactive mindset that catches problems before they ever cause downtime. You take pride in doing the job right the first time, every time.

Responsibilities

• Keep the operation running - Perform mechanical and electrical repairs, replace defective parts, align components, and use hand and power tools with precision and safety.
• Prevent before you repair - Execute preventive maintenance proactively — you anticipate failure points before they become outages. Reactive-only isn't good enough here.
• Troubleshoot with curiosity - Apply systematic problem-solving to electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. You understand how things work — and you use that understanding to find better solutions.
• Document everything - Close out work orders, update CMMS logs accurately, and red-line drawings. Your documentation protects the sites after you leave.
• Elevate the team - Train site staff on proper operation, preventive maintenance, and repair techniques. You share what you know.
• Support site launches - Assist with new site installations and equipment launches for smooth start-up and optimal performance.
• Stay available - Respond to after-hours emergencies and on-call needs — when the site needs you, you show up.

Requirements

• 5+ years of car wash equipment experience and knowledge
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems hands-on
• Proactive mindset — you surface issues before they escape and prioritize prevention over reaction
• Strong documentation habits — you close work orders and update logs accurately every time
• Comfortable using hand and power tools safely and accurately
• Reliable and responsive — available for on-call and after-hours emergencies
• Willingness to travel between sites as needed
• Experience with 3-phase motors, PLCs, VFDs, or relay logic is a strong plus
• CMMS background is a plus
• Ability to weld, fabricate, or dismantle equipment is a plus Valid driver's license required
