Job Description

The Automotive Car Wash/Detailer cleans and refurbishes new and used automobiles.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Wash vehicle exterior, using cleaning solution, water, cloths, and brushes.
2. Apply wax to auto body, and wipe or buff surface to protect and preserve shine, using cloth or buffing machine.
3. Vacuum interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris, using vacuum cleaner.
4. Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
5. Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot- and stain-resistant chemicals.
6. Clean engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents to remove grease and grime.
7. Apply special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials.
8. Paint engine components and related parts using spray gun or aerosol can.
9. Apply touch-up paint to chipped body surfaces of vehicles.
10. Apply dyes and reconditioning chemicals to vinyl tops of vehicles.
11. Follow all company safety policies and procedures, and report any accidents to a manager or supervisor.

Required:

1. All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
2. Valid driver's license and good driving record.
3. Ability to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, and drug test.
