Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a CAR-T Nurse Coordinator to serve as the primary clinical coordinator for cellular therapy patients, including CAR-T therapy. The role ensures regulatory compliance and delivers patient-centered care across the treatment continuum in a collaborative team environment.

The position requires RN licensure, BLS, and 1–3 years of related experience, with strong communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Registered Nurse license required; Basic Life Support certification required.
• 1–3 years related work experience.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certificate.
• Experience with computer systems and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care from referral to discharge, including pre-authorization.
• Receive consults and coordinate scheduling of consultations and procedures.
• Gather history, perform assessments, and assist in orders and labs.
• Educate patients and families, develop educational materials, participate in rounds.
• Lead process improvements and update clinical knowledge for the team.
• Handle patient calls pre- and post-treatment from providers and facilities.
