Qualifications

• RN license required; BLS certification required.
• 1–3 years nursing experience.
• Experience with electronic records and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care from referral to discharge and follow-up; assist with pre-authorization.
• Receive consults and coordinate scheduling for consultations, diagnostics, and treatments.
• Gather information for history and physical; perform and document evaluations and assessments; assist in ordering labs and imaging.
• Educate patients and families; develop patient/family education materials; participate in rounds and case conferences.
• Lead process improvement initiatives related to care for CAR-T patients; maintain current knowledge through education and literature review.
• Handle patient calls pre- and post-treatment from patients, referring providers, and external facilities.
