First Team Automotive Group in Hampton Roads region seeks an entry-level Sales Associate to help customers find the right vehicle and deliver outstanding service. You'll receive training, use modern CRM tools, and earn a competitive commission with a path for advancement within a large, family-owned dealer group.

Excellent communication, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic are essential; a valid driver's license and ability to work evenings/weekends required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Able to work evenings and weekends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to work with limited direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting relationships by assisting customers through the vehicle purchasing process.
• Demonstrate vehicle features and conduct engaging test drives.
• Prospect for new business through referrals, networking, digital opportunities, and community involvement.
• Respond promptly to internet leads, phone inquiries, and showroom traffic.
• Follow up with prospective and existing customers before, during, and after the sale.
• Utilize the dealership's CRM system to manage customer communications and sales activities.
• Maintain knowledge of vehicle features, financing options, manufacturer programs, and competitive products.
• Collaborate with managers and finance personnel to deliver a seamless purchase experience.
• Achieve individual sales goals while contributing to the success of the sales team.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience that earns repeat business and referrals.
