Job summary

GSP Transportation Inc. in Greer, SC is seeking a Customer Service Agent to welcome customers, understand their needs, explain rental options, and recommend products that add value to the experience.

We seek energetic, sales-driven professionals who enjoy building relationships from reservation to return. As CSA you will handle reservations, explain terms and rates, confirm eligibility, prepare rental agreements, process payments, and maintain accurate records while meeting sales goals.

Qualifications

• At least one year of sales or customer service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Open availability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, professional service throughout the customer journey, including reservations, vehicle pickup, returns, and issue resolution.
• Explain rental terms, vehicle features, rates, and available services clearly and accurately.
• Confirm customer eligibility, prepare rental agreements, process payments, and maintain accurate records.
• Engage customers in consultative sales conversations, identify their needs, and confidently recommend protection products, vehicle upgrades, fuel options, and additional equipment that add value to their rental experience.
• Meet or exceed individual and location sales goals by maximizing each customer interaction, overcoming objections, and converting opportunities into solutions that benefit both the customer and the business.
• Coordinate vehicle availability and verify that each vehicle meets cleanliness, safety, and readiness standards.
• Safeguard customer information and comply with company rental and operating procedures.
• Support daily location operations by maintaining a professional work area, completing required training, and assisting with assigned tasks.
• Maintain current job knowledge and continuously strengthen relevant skills.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support business needs.
