The role involves cleaning and detailing interior and exterior surfaces, washing and buffing vehicles, and adhering to safety procedures. Candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED preferred (or under 2 years related experience) and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred, OR less than 2 years of related work experience.
• Experience in detail shop or buffing helpful.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.

Responsibilities

• Clean out and de-trash interior of vehicles by removing debris from ashtrays, console, dashboard, seats, etc., and trunk area.
• Remove license plates and stickers, and clean windows excluding Auction-related text; disassemble spare tires.
• Wash vehicles with high-pressure washer or auto wash; clean engine compartment and battery terminals.
• Detail vehicles by cleaning and dressing trim, weather stripping, interior panels and more.
• Buff vehicles using dressing, apply compounds and polish; wax painted surfaces.
• Vacuum interior, scrub carpets and upholstery; straighten seatbelts.
• Ensure warranty booklets and manuals are returned from glove box.
• Demonstrate safety by following procedures and supporting Safety Excellence.
• Perform other duties including driving vehicles to staging areas and occasional sale day driving.
