Job summary

RTX's Advanced Hypersonic Weapons Directorate in Tucson, AZ, seeks an Associate Director to lead capture and proposal management for a growing portfolio, driving strategy and execution. The role is on site in Tucson with frequent travel to meet customers and partners.

The candidate will guide cross-functional teams, oversee cost/schedule/technical performance, and engage senior stakeholders. A Bachelor’s with 12+ years or an Advanced degree with 10+ years is required, plus an active Secret

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 12+ years, or an Advanced degree with 10+ years
• Proposal development experience
• Experience managing cost, schedule and technical performance using tools such as EVMS/IMP/IMS or similar
• Experience leading cross-functional teams (Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing)
• Active and transferable Secret U.S. security clearance, with ability to obtain Top Secret after start

Responsibilities

• Develop capture strategies and lead capture/management of projects
• Lead development of proposal responses for the portfolio
• Engage with senior customers and suppliers to develop proposal strategies
• Manage portfolio capture and demonstration efforts
• Travel frequently for customer engagements
