Job summary

Ryan Specialty is seeking a proactive Program Manager to oversee daily operations of assigned group captive insurance programs in Chicago. You will manage technical aspects for brokers, members, and service providers, ensuring accurate and timely program execution.

In this role you will partner with Captive Executives, cross-functional teams and board communications, lead underwriting, renewals, and financial oversight, and help drive growth while maintaining top service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a related field with 5+ years of P&C insurance experience.
• Ability to collaborate with executive leadership, brokers, and production teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and analytical problem-solving.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned captive programs and lead program activities.
• Manage underwriting submissions, pricing models, and proposal production.
• Maintain broker, member, and service-provider relationships; lead board meetings.
• Oversee documentation, renewals, financials, and slide decks with domicile manager.
• Monitor premium collection and financial reconciliation with relevant parties.
